General Information

Classroom instruction begins with Creative Movement opportunities for 2 and 3-year-olds. As your child grows, classes are designated by Grade School, Middle School and High school. Students are placed by Next Step staff based on age and dance level.

Next Step classes include preparation for our annual recital in June. Our students look forward to dancing in the spotlight during this professional show. The excitement of performing on stage in colorful costumes is a fitting reward for months of hard work in the studio. The recital experience provides our students with an opportunity to demonstrate the poise and confidence they have developed during the year as well as their enhanced dancing skills.

With your registration for classes at Next Step, you are making a commitment for the entire school year – September to June.  Except for our youngest dancers (Creative Movement & Tiny Dancer) are on a month to month basis.

Regular class attendance is essential for developing the skills showcased in the recital at the end of our studio year.

Classes meet once per week. Class times may be shortened (with same rate) or cancelled with less than 6 dancers in a class.

Your registration requires payment of the total class fee for the academic year (9 months based on 33 weeks of classes) as well as an annual registration fee of $25 per dancer or $40 for family.

Tuition listed is per month.

At the time of registration, first month fees are collected with the balance collected in monthly installments. Final payment is due May 1st.
